Guide to Embroidery



	Embroidery is widely recognised as a tremendously therapeutic hobby. Cross-stitch is one of the easiest forms of this ancient skill, and with very little practice it is possible to make highly impressive and beautiful objects, both decorative and useful. You need very little equipment - material (evenweave is easiest to work on), threads, needle, scissors and a pattern. All this is extremely portable, so you can take your hobby with you - on holiday, on long journeys, on work trips, to the beach, into the garden or by the fireside. Fascinating!
